Principal Network Technician

The governors of Corpus Christi Catholic College seek to appoint a talented and ambitious Principal Network Technician, to start as soon as possible.

We offer a friendly and supportive working environment underpinned by our strong Catholic ethos.  The college ICT Service has a key role in maximising student progress and outcomes and aims to deliver a high standard of support to the work of our students and staff.

The college has a policy of continual investment in our ICT infrastructure and utilises VMware and thin client terminal server technologies.   The ICT Service team is also supported by an external managed network provider.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of computer networking, experience of working in a network support role dealing with a variety of end users and experience of working with Windows server and desktop operating systems.   Previous experience of using the SIMS management information systems and RM CC4 would be advantageous, however training will be provided where required.

A commitment to teamwork and willingness to upskill and undertake suitable training is essential for this post, which would suit a candidate with an ambition to progress to a Network Manager role in the future.
